If someone took away your Windows, for the most part you would
be able to do the same *you do now.  Probably even your audio
stuff.

At first, I had trouble translating my needs into Linux apps.
Now, it is pretty easy to find what I want.  YMMV, of course.

Start an ISP or a web hosting service.

Since *you* can't seem to install, configure or run it correctly on the
desktop you should find something better to do with your time.  Since
you're into music, pretend that there is going to be a sequal to "Dirt,
Rotten Scoundrels" and score soundtrack for it.  Those of us, who have
managed to get Linux running happily on the server *and* client side,
will continue to do so and share you experiences with it to the rest of the
world.

Okay?  Bye bye.

All you did was * and moan about the installation...which you've done
with every distro.  I can't wait to see your take on BSD.  Have you ever
even used or tried to use another flavor of *nix...open source or
commercial?

If you didn't set "X-No-Archive: yes" you could even prove this.  But
you do, so you can't.  Oops.

Of course Linux is in the same league.  What are you saying here?

When it comes to Multimedia, Graphics work, Movies, you name it
it's being done with Linux right now.

Practically ALL the Hollywood movies requiring special effects are
made using Linux these days'.

And you wanting to switch to a Mac, well that's Mac OSX now and
that's FreeBSD, another Unix.

I could say the same for M$ stuff as well.
But you know, the dogs always chase cars.
