Yawn.

Arnold who? Oh, HIM! What took so long?

Gonna see.

Mixed feelings. Bill Bixby was damned good. This better have a good story,
damn it, and not just be a "HULK SMASH!" fest.

I may see it, but I'm getting a little tired of rehashed Matrix effects and
wire acrobatics. Look at the difference in energy between that stuff and
"Rumble in the Bronx," then give me a Jackie Chan movie any day.

Gotta see.

OK. I'd go for that, too.

I was on the set of The Hulk just as they were getting ready to blow it up
:)
</gratuitousnamedrop>

BTW: This is one damn good reason to buy the VIP tour tickets if you can
afford them any time you go to Universal Studios.

:-)

I'm waiting for The Matrix. I hope I'm not disappointed.

What?!  No mention of LXG!  The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.  LGX=LXG!

From the previews, it's looks like it is gonna be pretty good.

I collected comics till I was 16, and one of the things about them is that
they had alot of human interest bylines, it wasn't all just super-hero vs.
evil villain stuff.

Alot of the comic-to-movie projects lately have been able to successfully
capture this mix of action and humanity on film through the efforts of the
writers, directors, actors and direct interaction with the original
writers and editors of the 'zines in question.  Sometimes even the artists
that work(ed) on the 'zines themselves participate in the production.

The biggest challenge that these types of movies face is remaining
faithful to the original storyline.  Persons like myself who are familiar
with the originals will be looking for just how accurate these movies are
and how well the actors portray the characters.  So far, it's been pretty
decent.  Of course there have been some minor details that noone would
pick up on but actual readers, but for the most part, they are pretty
faithful (with the exception of Daredevil..ugh!)

If this follows true to form and Stan has anything to say about it, I
suspect The Hulk will be a "smash" ;-)

I thought The Return of the King wasn't coming out until December.

Speaking of details and Daredevil, did anyone else notice the name of the
fighter on the marquee?

I've been having a little fun with these Marvel films looking for Stan
Lee's cameos. Here are the ones I know of:
X-men: hot dog vendor on the beach
Spider-man: bystander at celebration during Gobby's first attack.
Daredevil: man reading paper at crosswalk, saved by young Matt.
If for no other reason I'll have to see The Hulk just to see if I can pick
Stan out of the crowd.

iirc, he led a young girl away from danger.
