I'm trying to install a Compaq Deskpro 4000 6266MMX with Redhat 5.1 and I
can't find any drivers for my soundcard (ESS1869) and a Compaq Netflex
Embedded 10/100 TX card.
Can anyone help me please?

1. RedHat 5.1 + HDD>1024 + Newbie = Help!
Newbie is an understatement.
Anyway, I have a Western Digital Caviar 8.4GB hard drive and Red Hat 5.1.
I tried appending "hda=1027,255,63" in lilo.conf and even did the "lilo"
command, but I still get:
Not found any [active partition] in HDD
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER.
This is a brand new disk, brand new Red Had 5.1 and I did everything it
said to do. The disk parameters I got from the setup screen after autoprobe.
I even created small partitions, as outlined in the Red Hat book. i'm only
using about 2GB, so I am definately NOT straddling cylinder 1023.
Luckily I created a boot diskette so I can make fixes.
Can anyone help?
