Hi,

Since I made a move from 1.2.13 to 1.3.74 and later 1.3.77 I seem to
have a problem with `top'. `top' returns only some general information.
Information on the individual processes is not given, instead it comes
with a floating point error. i would appreciate if someone could hint me
for a solution to make it function correctly again.

You need procps-0.99a  the old version of top does not work properly
with the newer 1.3.7x kernels.

I'm using binutils-2.6.0.11.  Compiling procps-0.99a with SHARED=1 in
the Makefile results in:
