I was building a set of installation floppies using the cool
compressed fd0 loader. It became evident that after many
attempts, it seems that the ram disk contents are corrupted
and kernel error messages to that effect appear.
While attempting all different kinds of gzip's and file system
sizes, the machine I was building these floppies on came back
with "/dev/fd0" being an invalid device after using it fairly
