SPY records data to yourt local disk (files and usernames/passwords). SPY
knows the protocols: TCP/IP, NETBIOS, HTTP, FTP, NNTP, SMTP, POP3. Many

Funny, I thought this newsgroup was about Linux apps.  Perhaps you'd
find more people who can run your program if you posted to a newsgroup
that has something to do with the platform your program runs on.

As long as we are talking about sniffers, is there anything decent out there
for Linux?  Using the TCPDUMP / TCPSHOW combination is quite a drag.
