Where to find telnet client source?

Post by cs82092 » Fri, 04 Jul 1997 04:00:00

I need to customized the telnet client for use in a public site. Could
anybody tell me where can I find its source?

I found one called "telnet.95.10.23.NE+ipv6-1" but it has some
problems. Eg. it will hang after typing the login name while connecting
to a Solaris workstation, and the screen display get messy (caused
by no carriage-return) when connecting to OSF/1 alpha workstation...

I need a workable telnet client source which does not have the said
problems. Please tell me where to get it. Thanks.

You can find telnet source in the file inetutils-1.3a.tar.gz
on prep.ai.mit.edu/pub/gnu
