minimize the needed modules for sendmail

Post by Gandh » Fri, 27 Jun 2003 15:58:16

Hi all.

Is there anybody who knows what are the minimum components for sending
a mail in C/C++ environment?
Since I am developing a stand-alone machine, I need to minimize the
size of component without redundancy.
Nothing else is needed but sending a mail.

Thank you for any comment!

Best Regards

Gandhar

    So write a short program in C or C++ to send an email. It's not
difficult, in fact it's trivial. Look up SMTP.

1. OS5.0.4/sendmail 8.8.8/sendmail.cf Need help

Since you installed a new version of Sendmail from SCO VOL files,
try running mkdev cf and see if a new 8.8.8 version cf file is created
for you.

Then edit the new cf file to make the required changes.
