Filesystems are something that has to be supported at the kernel level.

Therefore, if there was support for JFS/LFS, it would be available for
*all* Linux distributions.

Steven Tweedie and Hans Reiser are both working on related efforts, as
are others, but none are ready for release yet.

Watch for it in 2.3 kernels...
