1.3.95: fcntl_setlk() called by process 81 with broken flock() emulation

Hi,
Just compiled the new kernel 1.3.95 and am seeing the following
messages at boot, just before the login prompt:

fcntl_setlk() called by process 81 with broken flock() emulation
             -  "  -            84           -  "  -
             -  "  -            85           -  "  -
..   etc.

Six messages in all - they seem to correspond to each of the six
virtual terminals.

Also get one of these message at each logout.

Based on a very quick test the system appears to be working
as normal otherwise both in command-line mode and in X.

Any ideas ? Is anything seriously wrong or can I safely
ignore this ?

(I see there were some tty-related patches in 1.3.95 - what gives ?)

TIA  /Henrik

PS. Using Slackware 3.0.0. with gcc 2.7.0.

Hi,

upgrade to libc 5.2.18. There is an explanation somewhere in
the kernel-documentation, what happens.
