More data from a new lock-up...

Here is the message...
Kernel panic: skput:over: 0481033c:250
In swapper task - not syncing

I traced the first line down to the file include/linux/skbuff.h.
It seems as though some function is trying to add more data to
an sk_buff than has been allocated for it.  The length is 250, and the
address of
the inline c code is 0481033c.  A panic is generated, which brings us to
the
next message.

When the panic occurs, it seems as though an attempt is made to do a
sys_sync().  Unless the curent task is task[0] (the swapper task?), and
hence
the second message.

So, the swapper task attempted an skput of a size that was too large.

That smells like a well known attack (nestea ? Someone correct me here)
that has been fixed since 2.0.34. If you have to use 2.0.33, there is
a patch available on http://www.linuxhq.com. If you use an even older
kernel, try to upgrade or disconnect your computer from the internet :-)

Cheers

Rudi

PS: You should try to hunt down that bastard who crashes your computer
over the network ...

The following message has appeared through syslog on my system:
