until yesterday everything was OK with my system. I was in the kitchen when I
heard the computer rebooting by itself and then after detecting my hardware
specifications with CD-Rom, Harddisk partitions .... it hangs directly after
the following message :
VFS: Mounting root-filesystem (ext2) read-only
When I boot with the emergency diskettes and the ramdisks, I can mount all
my partitions with no problems. When I ran fsck.ext2 on the root partition,
the fsck.ext2 had to remove some Inodes !!!
What's wrong with the system.
It's a standalone system (So no network) running Linux 1.2.13 (ELF). 2 Days
ago I made an upgrade from RedHat 2.1 to RedHat 3.0.3.
Please mail me as soon as you can.
