What does this EXT2-fs error mean?

I recently moved my INN news server from a Sparc to a Pentium running
Linux.  It's been fine running unoff3 for a week now, but today I started
getting this error:

Nov 16 04:49:36 sanjuan linux: EXT2-fs error (device 8/2):
ext2_free_blocks: Freeing blocks not in datazone - block = 1664168750,
count = 1

I'm using a BusLogic PCI SCSI controller and have a 1.2 gig drive and a 4
gig drive on board.
