Is there a group entry limitation in the 2.4 kernel? If so what is it the reason I ask is
becasuse I
have an 40 machines authenticating off of an LDAP server. SOmetimes there are certain entries
you
get seg fault on ifg you try to find out what groups they are apart of I think I have been able
to
determine that the problem
group but I haven't been able to get my question addresed anywhere.

Is there a groups entry limitation. The reason I ask is beause I am getting Segmentation
fault when I try to get the uid of certain users who belong to this certain groups I have been
able
to isolate which one it is. But i haven't been able to find out if this is the case. I am
running
kernel v2.4.4
with redhat linux 7.0. I am using ldap to authenticate my users and i have am using openldap
v2.0.14
