Hello world!
How do I rename a kernel's name from i.e. "2.4.17" to "2.4.17-somespecial"?
This would be helpful to install different configured versions of the same
kernel at one time. As this is no problem for the kernel itself, I thought it
is necessary for the modules directory to have a unique name (identical to the
kernel's name).
Or do I have a wrong understanding regarding this?
Greetings,
Tobias
