kernel 2.4.18 + 2.4.19-pre10 patch

Post by vIR_ » Sat, 29 Jun 2002 18:51:11

Hi,

I've got an IBM Thinkpad A20m. After going into suspend (or standby?)
mode with apm (no ACPI), the machine won't wake up. I got to power it
down and then restart the system.

This Problem doesn't appear with kernel 2.4.18. I also copied my
2.4.19-pre10-config file and compiled 2.4.18 with it (no changes made)
- No Problem.

My distro is Debian Woody. Both kernels (2.4.18 and the patch) where
taken directly from kernel.org. (I didn't use the kernel shipped with
Woody).

Hello,

We're experiencing problems with a Linux nfs server. Client is
FreeBSD. Filesystem is big (150G, 3M inodes used) but not heavily used
over NFS, apache rather. This happens every few days. Client hangs.

I'd be happy to supply any aditional info.

Tomek
