Help! Media Player playlist not selectable

Post by Chris Garlan » Thu, 18 Jul 2002 02:41:45

I have a IPAQ 3765 pre-loaded with Pocket PC 2002.  When I
open WMP and choose Select, any new playlists that I've
created don't show up.  I can go into Organize Playlists
and they are there.  I can explore the "My Documents"
folder from ActiveSync and I can see the new playlists.
The only playlist it lets me select is Playlist #3 (and it
defaults to that one).  Any suggestions?

TIA!!

Chris

Just checking

For What it's worth, I've been having this problem for a
while too.  I have an Ipaq 3835 with a toshiba 2gb HDD,
and it's loaded with mp3's.  I've had more problems with
playlists disappearing with WMP8, and I've loaded WMP7.1,
and have had much fewer problems, but still, every now and
then, the playlists disappear from the selection, even
though they exist as files.  I can even see them in the
edit playlist area.

Chris,

Try the new MobiusJukebox MP3 player at http://www.mobiusaudio.com or
http://www.handango.com.  It has a much better playlist capability...
of course I am a little bias because I am the developer... Give it a
try and if you want any modifications.... Just let me know.

1. New WMP playlist not selectable

I have a IPAQ 3765 with Pocket PC 2002 pre-loaded.  When I
have WMP open, choose Select any new playlists that I
created don't show up.  I can go into Organize Playlists
and they are there.  I can explore the "My Documents"
folder from ActiveSync and I can see the new playlist.
The only playlist it lets me select is Playlist #3 (and it
defaults to that one).  Any suggestions?

Also, I keep getting a message saying Network not found
when running WMP.  Why?

TIA!!

Chris
