Syncronising Inbox

I have recently upgraded to a Compaq Ipaq H3700 and doing
so I have upgraded from Activesync 3.1 - 3.5.  I use
Office 97 and Outlook 97 running on NT4.

I connect to my work PC via a serial cradle and syncronise
via this device

Previously when I have set up partnerships and addedd
Inbox as a syncronisation option there has been no problem
however with Activesync 3.5 whilst I add Inbox as a
syncronisation option calender, tasks, contacts all
syncronise however Inbox fails and gives a message
attention required

Any tips to get inbox syncronising

Mark,

I ran into the same issue and resolved it by doing the following:

1.  In Active Sync, go to Tools-Options and un-check the "Inbox" option.
2.  Un-Dock and Re-Dock your PPC, allowing Active Sync to Syncronize.
3.  Go back into Tools-Options, put the check mark back in the "Inbox"
option and "Ok".

Active Sync should re-sync with your Inbox normally.

1. Sync 3.6 - Inbox Does Not Syncronise

I have this same problem.  New installation of 3.6 but it somehow included
Windows CE Inbox Transfer.  How do I make this go away?

I might add that ActiveSync is by far the least unreliable MS software I
have ever used.  This is an embarrassment to a firm that otherwise makes
decent products.
