REQ. EXP: B.S. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or
equivalent combination of education/work experience, HP
Hardware and software experience, Technical decision making
ability, Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
Team oriented, UNIX System Administration and workstation
experience.
COMMENTS: Building and documenting complex solutions including
Hewlett Packard hardware and software to design customer
specifications. Working with design team. Integrate systems
for HP clients. Prior Unix System Administration, Unix
networking and an Engineering background are required.
TITLE: NETWORK SUPPORT/SYSTEM ADMIN
LOCATION: Mt. View, CA
START DATE: Immediately
LENGTH: 4 Months+
REQ. EXP: Understanding of TCP/IP, NFS, SMTP and ARPA Services.
Knowledge of HP-UX operating system. Ability to configure NFS,
NIS, Sendmail, DNS, IP and Ethernet. Degree preferred. Desired
Skills: X.25 configuration, Token Ring, FDDI and SLIP.
COMMENTS: Provide high quality network support on HP-UX
networking products. Isolate verify and document product
problems. Interface with customers and have the ability to
troubleshoot and deal with customers via telephone. Excellent
verbal and written skills a must. Environment: Ability to
function in interrupt-driven, constantly changing priority
environment.
TITLE: UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

REQ. EXP: UNIX System Administration. Desired Skills: HP-UX
Series 800 experience and TCP/IP
COMMENTS: Support existing systems, setup and install new
systems including configure, evaluate, troubleshoot and modify
devices. Large disk management. Large multi-user (500-600)
complex systems background desired. Must possess good
fundamentals of UNIX networking. Need to be a self-starter,
assertive, fast learner and have the ability to work
independently.
TITLE: SEQUENT SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

LENGTH: 3 Months +
REQ. EXP: Sequent, Dynix/PTX, systems administration, scripts
knowledge, good planning skills
COMMENTS: Administering a system and network, backups,
recovery, performance tuning, batch and online at night,
configuration management
TITLE: HP-UX SUPPORT
LOCATION: Sacramento, CA

REQ. EXP: UNIX, HP-UX
COMMENTS: Duties include end user customer support, problem
resolution and troubleshooting. Network exposure and multi user
environment experience helpful.
TITLE: UNIX ADMINISTRATION/SUPPORT
