UNIX COMPUTER SYSTEM ADMINISTRATION/RESEARCH

A position is available for administration of a cluster of
Silicon Graphics computers in the Biochemistry Department
of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  Responsibilities
include system design and configuration, installation and
maintenence of commercial and custom software, networking and
system backups.  This would be a good opportunity for an
individual with system administration experience or who has
significant experience with the UNIX operating system to work
in an academic/scientific environment on computing and scientific
problems.  Because administration is not expected to be a full
time job, it will be possible for the successful applicant to
additionally develop their own computing research interests.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
