I noticed that when the control terminal gets killed also make gets killed :
$ (nohup make 2>&1 | tee -a make_mpich.log.gs0 & )

any idea why ?

1. Doing 'r' commands says "requires secure terminal"
Hi,
I have two machines running Ultrix 4.3 when Root trys to do a
"rdump" command it gives me "Requires secure terminal"
How can I get this around....
this is my /etc/ttys file They are same on both system
