1. LONDON - Sun Systems Administrator - Fantastic Opportunity - Front Office Support
Prestigious investment bank in London is searching for a
talented Sun Systems Administrator to become part of a top
team of Sun SA's supporting a large front office trading environment
(SunOS/Solaris).
Candidates must have a proven track record in a Sun Systems
Administration role, with strong skills in performance monitoring and
tuning, shell scripting, and backups. Some capacity planning and
disaster recovery knowledge would be beneficial.
Candidates with some programming knowledge of C/C++, and SQL would
have an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to shine in a high
profile area of the bank. You do not need prior banking experience,
but front office support experience is preferred. You will have the
opportunity to learn new skills, particularly, programming languages
that lend themselves well to the front office support role.
The position offers a base salary of 20k to 40k, plus bonus, and a
very generous benefits plan.
