Antonio (affordable living in the Texas hill country and no state income tax),
is seeking a Systems Administrator/Analyst for their Supercomputing Center.
Duties include system and network administration on high performance
supercomputer systems and workstations, managing the networking operations of
the company, providing user support, maintaining and enforcing firewall security
for the company, and working with vendors and users on purchasing and evaluating
software and hardware resources.
We are looking for someone with a M.S. in Computer Science/Engineering with 2-3
years experience in managing a UNIX environment with IRIX, UNICOS, and Solaris.
Familiarity with TCP/IP and networking hardware is mandatory. Programming
experience with shell scripts and C and FORTRAN is desirable. Experience with
Cray/SGI supercomputing systems is a big plus. A background or interest in
chemistry is desirable.
Some PC experience with WINDOWS 95 is required.
