server us using Open SSL.

Here are some errors I am finding in my ssl_error.log file.

SSL server is hard pressed to stay up for more than 10 minutes at a
time.  I can restart the server, get it up, then it goes right back
down shortly after.

Can anyone shed some light onto what may be causing this error?  I
have run out of ideas and avenues to explore.

I'd suggest updating apache + openssl at first, 1.3.12
is rather old and has some serious security bugs.

Perhaps those problems disappear after upgrading.
