Just purchased SCO OpenServer 5.0.5 Enterprise Edition and can not get it
installed.
Hardware Configuration:
Pentium 133MHz w/ 32MB RAM
Trident 8900 Video Card
On Board dual EIDE Controller (#1 enabled & #2 disabled)
Mitsumi 4X CDROM (set as Master)
Adaptec 2940 SCSI Controller
4GB IBM SCSI Drive (Add=0)
3COM 3C509 NIC
At Boot prompt, I enter the following
defbootstr Srom=wd(0,0,0,0) Sdsk=alad(0,0,0,0)
The boot proceeds, builds a boot kernel and correctly displays my hardware.
Problem:
Installation proceeds normally from boot disk and CDROM. I respond to the
configuration questions taking all defaults. At the end of the
configuration questions it is ready to start the installation to the hard
drive. The first screen says "Installation may now proceed unattended".
Then, the next screen displays the following message and system is hung:

Extracting files.

I've tried what I know but can not get past this point.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
