  Is anybody in this discusion list, who used Solstice Backup 5.1 ?

We have problem with ClientPack for AIX 4.2. We will feel grateful for any
suggestion for resolving our problem.

 The registration was made for the Server and  Legato NetWorker ClientPak for
Unix. The software works properly for Client on Solaris 2.6 machine (where is
installed NetWorker Server). The Legato NetWorker ClientPak for Unix is
installed and configured in another 2 hosts (system AIX 4.2 and AIX 4.1.2).

   Test the NetWorker Client programs on AIX systems sent messages:

*                                                                           *
* Solstice Backup Savegroup: (alert) heracles completed, 1 client(s)        *
* ( Failed)...                                        *
*                                                                           *
* no cycles found in media db; doing full save *
* * save: RAP error, Too many clients. Maximum *
*   is 0                                                                    *
* * save: Cannot open save session with        *
*                                                    *
*                                                                           *

We have enablers codes and authorization codes for:

 Archive (SunOS/Solaris)
 NW ClientPak for UNIX
 NW SNMP Module
 Data Backup Utility
 NetWorker Server Edition
 Autochanger 1-8 (Sun/Solaris)
 NW HSM Module
 JB Module 1-16 (SunOS/Solaris)

When we carefully looked at authorization codes we noticed following:

 We use nwadmin. When we choose:
 I have only 7 Enabler Codes. There is not Data Backup Utility !!!!!!!!!!!

When we try to create this code the system answer is:
   A base licence enabler already exists.

*                                                                       *
* 1. On one way I have Data Backup Utility's code, on second way        *
*    I haven't it. Is it correct?                                       *
* 2. Is it the critical error for our MAIN problem (Too many clients..)?*
*    And what we need to do for reparing this situation ?               *
*                                                                       *

1. Solstice Backup 5.1 / DMO 2.1/Oracle 8.1.5: Tape backup failed : Need of 5.5 Upgrade ?

we have the following installation:

Backup Server with

Solaris 2.5.1
Solstice Backup  Server 5.1

Backup client with

Solaris 2.6
Solstice backup Client 5.1

DMO (Database modules for Oracle) 2.1 with the last Patches, which
should give the possibility of scheduled backups

Oracle 8.1.5

Our Problem is:

we cant make a tape-backup with allocate ...'sbt_tape'  startet over
rman. backups to disk are running fine.

Starting a backup over nwadmin we get an error, because there is no
given a user.

Has anybody made a tape-backup from rman or nwadmin, without upgrading
to Solstice Backup 5.5?
