I Need Software for an AS/400 CHEAP!

I am looking for software for an IBM AS/400, Nothing special..
I need info on TCP/IP on the same machine. I'd like to hook it
in to a couple of other boxes.. Running AIX 2.2.1 and 3.* respectivly.
Yes I know that it runs OS/400 and all of that jazz.. I'm just
experimenting.. If you have the word processor or database stuff for
this machine, and have gotten rid of your machine.. Let me know..
I'm not made of money or anything.. Just want to learn as much as
I can..

If you are near DC so much the better.
Thanks for your time.
C++ Ya!

PS.. Or if you have any AS/400 specific hardware that you'd like
to donate (right, heh) to a good cause..
OK.. How about cheap??
Anyway.. I'm looking..
Please don't tell me to cal "IBM" or anything.. I have ALL the
Info from them that I can stand..

I don't think the internet police will allow you to use "cheap"
and "AS/400" in the same newsgroup, let alone the same sentence!
Absolutely NOTHING is cheap on an IBM AS/400. (Oh no, I just did
it twice!)

I think you have posted this to the wrong newsgroup. Try down the
hall somewhere. Unix is OPEN, IBM AS/400's are CLOSED systems.
This newsgroup has absolutely NOTHING to do with AS/400's.

I think that it's TCP/IP and AS/400 you can't use in the same
sentence or posting. "Cheap" in the philosophical sense like
"Lame" is OK to use with the AS/400, especially when discussing
network connectivity to other boxes.
