Creating a ram drive in UNIX SVR4

I am using UNIX SVR4 version 3.01.01.

How would I go about creating a ram drive.
The server I am trying this on has 524MB ram.
I've set MEMRANGE in the /stand/boot file = 0-640K:0, 1M-512M:0,
512M-4G:16. For added comfort I restricted MAXPRANGE in the mtune and
stune files to 512MB for the kernel. After a kernel rebuild and a reboot
I still cannot perform anything on the ram drives incl. partitioning,
slicing and file system creation.

Is there anybody out there that can help me, PLEEEAAASE !
