We now have the opportunity to upgrade a UW 2.1.3 dual processor box to
UW 7. I am wondering if we will see a performance increase due to
better File System I/O implementation and multi-processor support if no
changes are made to the actual hardware. Can anyone comment on this?

1. UW 7.1 - Can't Remove Corrupt Directory Name ?
Hi,
I created a directory called Export:
$ ls -l
total 3234
drwxr-sr-x 2 stardan other 96 May 18 10:16 Export
-rwxrwx--- 1 stardan other 251724 May 17 18:52 IMTS_SYS.EXE
-
Then I wanted to remove it:
$ rmdir Export
UX:rmdir: ERROR: Export: Directory does not exist
At this point I scratched my head thinking maybe there are some trailing
spaces. But lucky for me I could view the directory from Windows; this
is what Windows Explorer reported for a directory name:
Expoe rt
I can not delete it from either Windows or Unix. Any ideas?
