Need Help on "crt0: no /usr/lib/ld.so" Problem

Post by Ke Erh-chu » Wed, 26 Apr 1995 04:00:00

Dear netters:

I have the problem that when users logged into our SUN Sparc2
machine with SUNOS 4.1.1 there is always the message:

        crt0: no /usr/lib/ld.so

and it just refused users to log in. However, superuser can always log in
without any problem.  I check the file "ld.so" and it does exist:

        -r-xr-xr-x   1 root     40960 April 13 10:00 ld.so

Could anybody there tell me what to do? Thanks in advance.

Sincerely yours,

Hi !

----

AFAIK there's a way to tell GNU configure  to store libs in
/usr/local/lib/sparcv9/ (64bit - sparcv9) instead of /usr/local/lib/ -
but I cannot remember how it worked ;-(
Can anyone enligth me a little bit, please ?
