This company designs, develops and markets enterprise storage-management
and high availability products that manage both on-line and off-line
data for business-critical computing systems. The products are designed
to improve system performance, availability and manageability while
reducing the cost of administration.
Position Summary:
The Engineer in this role will support the NT and Solaris-based
technical sales efforts for its product line of storage management
products.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Engineer will be responsible for sales demonstrations, technical
presentations, benchmarks, competitive analysis, on-site installation
and hand-holding of prospects through evaluation of our client's
products.
Work Experience:
- 2-6 years of Systems Engineering experience.
- 4-6 years of programming in C and shell.
-Must be familiar with the following:
-Suns On-Line Disk Suite and/or HPs LVM
-UNIX File System (UFS)
-RAID Technology
-HA Technology
-UNIX Systems Performance Tuning

Education:
BS/CS or MS/CS with coursework in operating systems.
