is seeking outstanding individuals to pursue system analysis and software
development careers with our Decision Support Systems organization.
Responsibilities include system configuration, system performance analysis and
the development of large-scale decision support systems for the transportation
industry with immediate focus on airline applications. The successful
candidate will have an advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
with extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:
1. UNIX operating system
2. UNIX tools:
nmake, shell, etc
3. Software version control
4. C/C++ programming language and tools:
compilation, de*s
5. Workstation environments:
IBM, HP and Sun
LoadLeveler queuing manager
6. PC environment:
MS Windows
7. TCP/IP Networking
8. Graphics Libraries
9. Relational Databases
Excellent interpersonal skills and a high aptitude for problem solving are
required. Previous relevant work experience and academic specialization in
system development are desirable.
