tcsh - free bad block??

Post by Rita Benassa » Tue, 05 Oct 1999 04:00:00

I have a problem with my tcsh.
When I run tcsh (every time I open a new window)
I have the following error message

free(4001b9e8) bad block. (memtop = 40025000 membot = 4001b480)
free(4001b9f8) bad block. (memtop = 40025000 membot = 4001b480)

or, some other times

free(4001b9f8) bad block. (memtop = 40027800 membot = 4001b480)
free(4001ba08) bad block. (memtop = 40027800 membot = 4001b480)

I have also re-installed tcsh, without any result.
I use HP-UX 10.20.

What happens?
Any suggestions?

Thanks

Maybe this is coming from a command you execute in your .cshrc.  Try
putting "set verbose" at the beginning of it and see what command is
executed just before that message.
