Hi,
I am currently trying to set up a caching-only DNS server. When I
use nslookup on the server, everything seems to work great, but
when I change the resolv.conf on some of my other machines to
point to the new server, and then do a nslookup, I get the
following message:
nslookup xxxxxx
*** Can't find server name for address X.X.X.X: No information
where X.X.X.X is the ip address of the new server. It does go to
the next server in resolv.conf and get the info, but I don't
understand what this error means.
Thanks for the help.
Marc
