companies, is currently recruiting multiple staff Senior Product
Planners for opportunities in Austin, Texas.

supplier of enterprise-wide distributed systems management solutions for
heterogeneous client/server environments, sells its products to end user
customers with large, heterogeneous networks in the US, Europe, and Asia
through both a direct sales force and a distributor channel. They has

independent software vendors, and has also licensed its technology to

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Product Planning for the product set. Collect product
requirements from customers and Technical Services personnel. Work with
Development to ensure that future products meet the requirements of
todays and tomorrows distributed systems management challenges.
Participate in product teams to define, develop, test and release
software products. Design/Deliver advanced product and support training
to Technical Services group. Provide Beta test management support.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical
field or equivalent experience required.
* 5+ years experience in large scale software product planning.
* 2+ years of UNIX systems administration.
* 5+ years of working directly with customers.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to working in an interrupt-driven environment, managing
multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Must enjoy interacting with people.
* US or Permanent Resident required.
Other Skills Desired:
* Knowledge of one or more of the following environments: SunOS,
Solaris, HP-UX, and/or SVR4.
* 8+ years of experience working at UNIX based companies.
* 2+ years of PC systems administration.
* Previous experience using MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, and Novell
Netware highly desired.
