Dialback software?

Post by Andreas Barte » Sun, 06 Mar 1994 19:28:58

Hello,

I'am looking for a software package which allows users to log into a
system via modem, identify themselfs and then be called back by the system
under their predefined telephone number.

Is there any public domain 'dialback' software available?
(A search in the FAQ and archie had no success... )

Bye,
      Andreas

the "expect" system (which does a lot more than dialback)
includes a dialback script as a standard example
it's available from ftp.cme.nist.gov in /pub/expect

Hi all,

Well, the subject says is all. I'm looking for dialback software for
Linux. Does anyone know where to find is (or that it even exists)?

Thanks in advance,
Rutger
