I don't speak Unix, and now I have a problem. I am trying to add a .CGI
script to a subdirectory
on A Unix based machine.
This is what I found with my WSFTP program.....
-rwxr-xr-x 1 winds wind5 38464 Jun 1 22:45 chat.cgi
-rw-r--r-- 1 winds wind5 39797 Jun 2 21:20 chat2.cgi
^^^^^^^^^ This is why it does not run! The access rights (correct term?)
are not correct.
From my limited Unix knowledge, I know that with a Shell Account, I can
CHMOD 777
and it opens wide up, and I can see from above what mode actually works.
My dumb question is How do I change the Unix Rights on CHAT2.CGI to the same
on CHAT.CGI from a non shell account please? (Win 95 only) WS_FTP won't.
Is there a utility or program?
Thanks for the help!
