UNIX SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORS
NEEDED
My client company has asked my assistance in filling several UNIX
System Administrator positions.
The successful candidate will be part of a wireless products team as
one of the 5 UNIX System people doing the UNIX System
Administration work. Will run and write shell scripts as needed.
Will work with all Wireless COMA personal to assist with
installation, turn-up, and maintenance. Help with monitoring of
system as well as execution of scripts. Maintain log of activity
problems discovered and troubleshooting activities as well as
collection of system statistics. Will be a 6 month contract to start and
will extend as needed. Client also has the ability to hire the
candidate direct at end of contract term. A normal work week is
from 40-50 hours. The candidate will receive straight time after 40
hours.
Positions are located in the South, Southwest, and Pacific United
States.
Salary: $37-$44/hour
Qualifications:
*BSCS or BSEE or equivalent experience
*UNIX Systems Administration work
*Shell script running and writing
*Ability to work with little or no supervision
