Is there some way to connect a mass-produced printer to a unix
workstation such as a sparc or sgi? I know that ghostscript will
convert PS input to output suitable for a HP LaserJet, but what port
and/or cable should I use?

1. HELP: HP Laserjet 1100 + SGI Octane
Hello.
I'm intending to add printing capability to my SGI workstation. As
described in the title, the printer I wish to add is an HP 1100
Laserjet. I've already looked into getting a printing system such as
ESP Printpro (www.easysw.com). The only problem to which there wasn't
any answer on the ESP website is: Which cable do I need? I'm assuming
that ESP uses allows for a SCSI interface. Could somebody enlighten me
as to wether or not this is true? Does this printer at all support
SCSI? I do know that ESP has software support for the 1100.
HP.com is quite unhelpful. :(
