I can't get to compile wusage on my linux box. I know it is a linux thing with
these libraries, but I don't know what to alter to correct this problem.

  You need to give us a little more info.. What were the errors you
got??

 SB> Hmmmm.... can't help there. It compiled straight out of the box for me.
 SB> The only thing I did was delete the '-g' (debugging information)

Omitting the -g did the job.

I added -O2 -s  to the CFLAGS.
This makes the binary 15K smaller...

 SB> I used

 SB> Linux 1.2.8
 SB> gcc 2.6.3
 SB> gnu make 3.73
 SB> wusage 3.2

Wusage compiles with gcc2.7.0-ELF

 SB> If you're still having problems, I could send you the binary.
