How to upload a file through a webpage? 10938

Hello,

I need to write a webpage along with the necessary CGI script to allow visitors to upload their log files. I know this is possible (I have seen such pages). Furthermore, I have seen sample CGI scripts that supposedly do it, but have not worked for me. I would be EXTREMELY grateful if someone could provide an exaple of a webpage form and a CGI script (language unimportant) which would allow file uploading.

Thank you very much in advance.

P.S. Please respond via email as well.

1. Cronjob moves files from ftp upload directory before upload is complete

Hello,

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I am running a cronjob that moves files from several users ftp upload
directories into another directory and processes these files. The problem I
am encountering is that files that are in the process of uploading are moved
before the upload is complete resulting in a partial file moved.
What is the best way to handle this?

Mike
