How do i set up users to have a directory in their homedir which is published

From the admin manager, from the menu option "URL configuration", choose
the link for "Configure user's public information directories" under "URL
mappings".
Submit the form, restart the server, and you're done.

1. Changing users homedir on NCSA
We running a NCSA server on Digital Unix.
Right now the 'UserDir' is set to '.' but we are going to
change it to a dir called 'Public' (this is where everyone is
keeping their html files on our system anyway), is there any
way to do this without to much problems?
If we would do this without any additional changes, old links
going to /~e94_jlu/Public/ will be translated to /~e94_jlu/Public/Public
but we would like to avoid exactly this translation.
Is there anyway to solve this with 'Redirect' or any other configuration
on a NCSA server?
