After some days more than 20 or 30 http-daemons are running!
Where can I find a patch ????

I had the same problem with httpd 3.0 pre6 on a OSF/1 3.2. I now
upgraded to 3.0  compiled with the libwww 2.17 libraries. So far I
didn't see 'hanging' child processes (yet, I installed it only a few
days ago).
