Our web is on a DEC alpha running NS enterprise server 2.1. I have a simple
frameset (three equal width columns) containing three simple html files, all
text, no gfx. Whenever the page is refreshed, two or three of these
"connection reset" errors occur.
[23/Sep/1997:14:11:47] info: for host MBruce.admin.unr.edu, handle-request
reports: read from 134.197.61.230 failed, error is Connection reset by peer

Since this page is refreshed a lot (by design) these errors really pile up, and
we suspect that they may be causing the server to "crash" every couple days.
Actually, the process keeps running but the server becomes horrendously slow
and sometimes denies permission to files which work fine otherwise.
Given that the pages that cause these errors are relatively benign, this is
really confusing the heck out of me.
Can anyone offer me some insight into either the errors or the server crashes??
Thanks in advance, just call me "Connection reset by peer" =)
