Conf File Set Up

OK ...Im plugin away here....

Everything works but CGI...hehehe

Questions:

1. I have set up Virtual Hosting in the httpd file. In the access file

    there is a directive # set this to DocumentRoot.
    <Directory /usr/local/etc/httpd/htdocs/>
     Options Indexes FollowSymLinks Includes
     AllowOverride All
     order allow,deny
    allow from all
    </Directory>

     The question is, is this useless because of the DocRoot settings
      in the VirtualHost directive in the httpd file? Each VirtualHost

      DocumentRoot is differant.

2. Can I elliminate the access file? and put everything in the
    <virtualhost> directive in the httpd file?

3. Regarding CGI under VirtualHosting:
    Access.conf
       no entry

    Srm.conf
      # for global use of all virtualhosts
      ScriptAlias /cgi-bin /usr/local/etc/httpd/cgi-bin

     httpd.conf
          ## VH MyDomain.com ###
        ServerName MyDomain.com

DocumentRoot /usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/MyDomain.com/htdocs
ScriptAlias /cgi-local
/usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/MyDomain.com/cgi-local

<Directory /usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/MyDomain.com/cgi-local>
Options ExecCGI
</Directory>

TransferLog /usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/MyDomain.com/logs/access
ErrorLog /usr/local/etc/httpd/sites/MyDomain.com/logs/error
</VirtualHost>
