Hi,
  I have Just installed Apache and need to get to the command
line...after looking around to find out how im not having much
luck...is there anyone who can tell me how...i have a contact who will
be able to tell me what to do whren i get into the command line...but
it seems like getting there is the hard part

Is this a local system physically near you, or a remote system? If it's
remote, do you have a telnet or SSH client, and do you have either of
those services running? How did you go about installing Apache, since
you don't know how to access the shell command line? Are you using a
Unix server?

1. I am a first time user !! Help!!

I am geting ahold of a few old laptops and desktop computer's to trial
FreeBSD on and see what the Os will run on,  Well can i run the latest
Version of Freebsd on a 286,  386,  486,  &586 ??
There is a laptop and desktop of each shall i just give it a go ??

How do i got about it ??

I also have a Linix server which i am hoping to turn into a Freebsd server
in future is it worth it ?? What is more stable ??
