Patches for HTTPD

Post by Wojciech Try » Sun, 04 Jun 1995 04:00:00

I have installed patches for NSCA httpd server to enable multihost.
But I don't know how to set up another virtual server.
Could anyone help me please

1. Patch for HTTPd 1.5.1 to support preforking under Linux 2.0+

Well, I have created (that I know of) the first patch to support file
descriptor passing for Linux NCSA HTTPd 1.5.1.  This fixes the problem
that >1.3.30 kernels have with preforking.  The patch compiles on a
stock Slakware '96 system.  It is confirmed to work with 2.0.0, it may
work with slightly older kernels (they are rumored to have the
appropriate
support).  Anyhow, the patch can be obtained at:

ftp://pedwards.got.net/pub/Linux/httpd_lx-2.0_patch.tgz, it's 1514
bytes.

The README file has the appropriate info.

Send any comments, etc to the address below.
