Apache1.1.1 & Solaris2.5.1 HELP

I need some help here....
OK, we are running 2 UltraSpark E4000s both with Solaris 2.5.1 and
Apache 1.1.1, and when the load gets to 150 or 160, they bog. almost
completely die.
It is not recognising the MaxClients in the config files, and we can
find NO reason for this to be happening. Any suggestions?

1. Help! Virtual Hosts on Linux/Apache1.1.1

Disclaimer: I'm new at this (our sysadmin left the country)
so please be kind in your replies.

I'm trying to set up additional virtual domains but it's
not working. I can connect to http://204.171.184.253 just
fine (this is the IP I set up for the virtual host). *But*
when I try to connect to http://www.iq-metrology.com which
should correspond, the error message "The server does not
have a DNS entry" comes up.

As far as I know, I've made *all* the necessary changes to
files on the primary and secondary nameservers, added the
<VirtualHost> directive info, and altered rc.ipaliases.

Does anyone know where to look among all these files for a
clue to help me solve this problem?
