NCSA 1.4.1 NOT updating access_log file

Post by dguth.. » Sun, 25 Jun 1995 04:00:00

I've just upgraded to NCSA 1.4.1. server for Linux.  However my access_log
file is only get entries for "POST" messages to for online forms.  No other access are
being inserted in the access_log.

Any ideas what the problem is?

1. NCSA httpd - access_log not updated

Sorry if this is a basic question but I am relatively new to unix system

I am running NCSA httpd under AIX 3.2.5.  When I run it from the command
prompt, everything works correctly.  However, when I run it from my
inittab file, it does not update the access_log but instead writes the
access information on the bottom of every web page that it serves.  I
use the following inittab line:

Ph.D. Student - Finance Division
Commerce and Business Admin.  U.B.C.
