NS enterprise server 3.0 and virtual software server log separating

Post by matthew rinell » Tue, 07 Oct 1997 04:00:00

Hello, I want to be able to separate the access and error logs for
different virtual software servers I have setup on our Netscape
Enterprise 3.0 server.  That is, I want the accesses and errors for a
certain virtual server to be logged to a separate file

Any help is appreciated
Matt

This is probably not what you want to hear but ditch netscap and run
apache you can then configure each virtual host to your harts content

If you write a custom logger in NSAPI, you can probably get the
local IP address from the socket descriptor. IP address and
port identify the virtual host, so you can write to the appropriate log.
